Cruising on Be Luu Chaung

Yangon – Inle – Loikaw – Panpet villages – Yangon (8 Days / 7 Nights)

This long trip is to expose our clients to one of the mysteries of Myanmar which are Loikaw and Indein. Indein resembles “Angkor Wat” and it is a fascinating and pretty ancient for anyone to stimulate their willingness to explore more in this area. This tour includes cruise to “Be Luu Chaung”, the hydro power dam which has been distributing electricity all over Myanmar. The highlight of this tour is to discover the significant places of Myanmar which are Yangon, Inle Lake, Indein, and Loikaw; Kayah State.

Day 1: Yangon arrival – City tour (by car – upon arrival)

  • Welcome by the Marco Polo representative on arrival at Yangon international airport and transfer to the hotel.
  • After a brief fresh up at hotel, begins the orientation tour of Yangon, includes Sule Pagoda, the City Hall & Colonial buildings, Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, photo stop at Karaweik Hall & Royal Barge on the Kandawgyi Royal Lake.
  • At sunset, visit the marvellous Shwedagon Pagoda, the glistening golden stupa that towers over the capital and one of the wonders of the world, is the spiritual centre of the country.
  • Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon _ Heho (by flight) ~ Inle Lake (by boat)

  • After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Heho.
  • Arrive Heho, drive to Nyaung Shwe “the door of Inle lake”.
  • Visit Phaung Daw U Kyaung, Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, gold and silver smith workshops, shan shoulder bag weaving center and floating garden.
  • Enjoy the sunset while visiting the lake by boat.
  • Overnight at hotel in Nyaung Shwe

Day 3: Inle ~ Indein (by boat)

  • After breakfast at hotel, visit to Indein village, which is surrounded on both sides by high hills.
  • After a short distance walk through the bamboo forest , the exciting vie Indein Temple complex is situated in the western shore of the lake and most of the internal wall of the ruins of 1054 shrines make you say “wow”.
  • In the afternoon, visit Impawkhone silk weaving village, a blacksmith, Cheroot making and surrounding villages.
  • Overnight at hotel in Nyaung Shwe.

Day 4: Inle ~ Phekhone (by boat) – Loikaw (by car)

  • After breakfast at hotel, visit to Indein village, which is surrounded on both sides by high hills.
  • After a short distance walk through the bamboo forest , the exciting vie Indein Temple complex is situated in the western shore of the lake and most of the internal wall of the ruins of 1054 shrines make you say “wow”.

Day 5: Loikaw – De Mow Soe Market – Panpet (short trek) – Saung Du – Loikaw (by car)

  • Morning breakfast at hotel, we will go to De Mow Soe Market.

  • In the market, you can Kayan women (long neck) are selling the traditional wine, Honey and others.
  • We will visit around the market, and then we will go to Pan Pet Village (Kayan).
  • In the village you can go trekking visit around the village, visit their home, cultural exchange with villagers.
  • And then go to another village near by Pan Pet village (Saung Duu).
  • In the evening, we will come back to Loikaw and sunset at Taung Kwe Pagoda.
  • Overnight at hotel in Loikaw.

Day 6: Be Luu Chaung (by boat) – Kayah Sausage – Museum – Kyat Cave (by car)

  • Morning, breakfast at hotel, first enjoy boat trip at Be Luu Chaung.
  • Go to Payar Phyu village by boat for 35 minutes and you can visit (Inn Thar) village.
  • We will come back to Loikaw and go to do Kayah traditional Sausage by yourself and after that go to visit Kayah State Museum.
  • At the afternoon, we will go to do soft adventure at Kyat Cave, it can take 30 minutes and you can see long and broken coffine in the cave.
  • Then we will come back to Loikaw.
  • Overnight at hotel in Loikaw.

Day 7: Loikaw _ Yangon (by flight) – City tour (by car)

  • Breakfast at hotel, free you leisure time till you will be transferred to airport for the flight to Yangon.
  • Arrive Yangon, visit Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott) which has an enormous array of consumer goods and has the largest collections of souvenirs from all over Myanmar.
  • This will be a wonderful opportunity to pick up some handicrafts.
  • After shopping, proceed to China Town and walk around in the area.
  • This late afternoon, you can stroll along the Yangon River to end up the day.
  • Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 8: Yangon departure (by car)

  • Breakfast at the Hotel, enjoy a leisurely morning and you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight back home.
